You just finished your best event yet, and are ready to start looking at next year. But the endless months of research to find another venue is a daunting task you are not readily prepared to take on. There must be an easier way.

Retreats are so much fun. So, if your guests enjoyed themselves so much, why wouldn’t you do it again? Many churches have discovered the benefits that retreats can bring to their congregation, as well as what happens when those retreats continue to take place from year to year.

• You are familiar with the venue, which means no surprises as to what they offer.
• It’s a lot quicker to rebook than to create a whole new event. Your current venue will have all your information from the last event, so that you don’t have to try to remember every detail and chance leaving something out.
• Returning customers get better discounts and date priority. If a venue loves your event as much as you love them, they are sure to do what it takes to make sure your event can continue to happen.

Just because you use the same venue, doesn’t mean you are stuck with the same old event every year. The one thing that should always change is the theme. Whether it is a new recreation activity offered by the venue or the latest youth camp game, mixing in new can keep everyone having fun. Bring in a different speaker or praise group.
